All applicants or licensees must demonstrate experience, knowledge, good character, and financial responsibility.
The contractor who will act as the qualifying individual must have had, within the ten years immediately before the filing of the application, at least four full years of experience at a journeyman level, or as a foreman, supervisor, or contractor in the classification for which you are applying.
Training received in a program offered at an accredited college or university or an equivalent program accepted by the Board may be used to satisfy a maximum of three years of experience.
All businesses or individuals who construct or alter any building, highway, road, parking facility, railroad, excavation, or other structure in Nevada must be licensed by the Nevada State Contractors Board.
You do not have to reside in the state of Nevada to obtain a Nevada contractors license.
You must be at least 21 years of age to receive a Nevada contractors license.
